KINGS XI PUNJAB [KXIP] is owned by Bollywood actress Preity Zinta, Ness Wadia (Bombay Dyeing), Mohit Burman (Dabur), and Karan Paul (Apeejay Surendera Group) who got the franchise rights for $76 million.
KINGS XI PUNJAB [KXIP] was initially lead by the famous Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh but from IPL 4, 2011 KINGS XI PUNJAB [KXIP] is lead by the Australian cricketer Adam Gilchrist.
The logo of KINGS XI PUNJAB [KXIP] team consists of a light grey colored shield with two red colored lion heads with the team’s name written in bold red font. It also has a letter sequene ‘K.J.H.P.H’ inscribed at the top which stand for Kashmir, Jammu, Himachal, Punjab and Haryana indicating that the team KINGS XI PUNJAB [KXIP] proudly represents all these states.
KINGS XI PUNJAB [KXIP] has two home grounds - Punjab Cricket Association Stadium [PCA], Mohali and Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala.
