With a surprise decision by both Indian and Pakistani Governments agreeing to allow cricket teams to participate in matches against each other, Cricket governing authorities made an immediate plan to organise a Twenty-20 series between the two rival teams - India Vs Pakistan by the end of 2012.
As a result of this, the first T20 match where in Indian cricket team comes up to play against the Pakistan cricket team was scheduled to begin from 25th Dec 2012, coinciding with the Christmas holiday season of the year 2012.The first India vs Pak match is scheduled to be played on 25 Dec 2012 at Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. This is going to be a nightly match played under the flood lights starting from 7PM IST.
With the holiday season, the demand for the tickets for India vs Pakistan Twenty20 (T20 - similar to that of IPL) 2012 has already gone well above the expectation.
Chinnaswamy stadium is capable of accomodating upto 41,000 spectators and the sales for different categories of tickets featuring different viewing positions in the stadium is already seeing a surplus demand. Not only do we see a huge demand for tickets near the stadium ticket counters itself (where in people are already flocking the counters, many even sleeping overnight in the chilly month of December 2012 just to ensure they could get hold of an entry into the stadium on Dec 25, 2012), but there is also huge demand for the ticket bookings via online facilitators.
